Jose Capriles Flores received his Ph.D. from Washington University in St. Louis in 2011 for his archaeological research focused on the origins and early development of camelid (i.e., llamas and alpacas) pastoralism in the Bolivian Andes. His next move was as a postdoctoral fellow with the Universidad de Tarapaca.
Jose was recently offered a tenure track position at Pennsylvania State University with the Department of Anthropology and will begin Fall 2016.
